Every vehicle starts with a full condition inspection: we go through the whole vehicle — brakes, tires, lights, wipers, fluids, belts, hoses and the battery — record its condition from day one and connect it to Aperio, and if an oil change or tire rotation is due we do it at that same visit. One-time onboarding — $45 per vehicle. Pay it once; that vehicle is in for life.
What an EV visit covers.
No oil change, no oil filter and no oil-capacity surcharge. An EV is heavier and delivers torque instantly, so tires and the 12V battery are what actually need watching — and regenerative braking leaves pads to corrode rather than wear, which is why they are measured every visit.
Honda Prologue
Does a Honda Prologue need an oil change?
No. The Prologue is battery-electric: there is no engine oil, no oil filter and no oil-change interval, so nothing on this page quotes one. Everything else a car wears out — tires, brakes, cabin filter, wipers, the 12V battery — it still wears out, and that is what the plan covers.
What does the Aperio plan cost for a Honda Prologue?
$199 a year for the vehicle, the same as any other car on the plan, plus the $20 mobile service fee per visit (first 4 visits a year; $30 after). There is no oil-capacity charge on an EV, because there is no oil.
What do you actually do on an EV visit?
Tire rotation, wear and age check; a brake inspection with the pads measured and photographed; the cabin air filter as needed; a 12V battery health check with fluids topped up where needed; and a full safety check of lights, wipers, fluids, suspension and steering. Photos of all of it, in a service record you own.
Which Prologue years do you service?
2024–2026. The visit is the same across the range; what changes is tire size and how much the 12V battery has aged.
Where do you service a Prologue?
At your address — a driveway, a workplace lot, a legal street spot or beside your charger — in any of the 24 cities we publish a guide for. The car does not need to be charging, and it does not need to be driven anywhere.
