Vancouver's mild winters mean oil isn't punished by cold starts the way it is on the Prairies, so we follow the manufacturer's longer interval — typically 8,000–12,000 km on full synthetic — rather than a sticker's 5,000 km.
Underground parkades don't fit our vans. Park on a surface stall, the street or a driveway for the visit — we remind you the evening before.

How much does a mobile oil change cost in Vancouver?
It depends on the engine: a full-synthetic oil change is $117.75 for most cars and more for trucks and European engines with larger sumps — every vehicle page shows the exact price. Add the $20 mobile service fee per visit (first 4 visits a year; $30 after). On the $199-a-year plan the oil change is included and you pay only that fee, as long as the engine takes 6 L of oil or less. Past 6 L the plan itself adds $7 per extra litre, per year; nothing is added per oil change.
Do you use the right oil for my car?
Yes. We look up the grade and capacity for your exact year, make, model and engine before the visit — see the vehicle pages below — and fill to the manufacturer's specification with full synthetic.
Where do you do the oil change?
In your driveway, a back lane, a surface lot or a legal street spot anywhere in Vancouver. Underground parkades don't fit the van.
What happens to the used oil?
It goes into a sealed tank on the van and is recycled through a licensed collector. Nothing touches your driveway.
Should I follow the sticker in my windshield?
That sticker is two things: a guess, and a marketing tool. A guess, because it was written the day of your last oil change without knowing how you drive; a marketing tool, because its job is to bring you back. Your car measures the real thing — we book the visit at 10% oil life or 8,000 km, whichever is later, or on the manufacturer's interval.
How long does it take?
Most visits take 20 to 30 minutes. That includes the rotation, brake measurement and inspection when you're on the plan.

In Vancouver, the plan is calendar-led as much as mileage-led — a visit every six months even when the odometer barely moves, because oil, batteries and tires age by time as well as distance.
