Aperio, in one paragraph.
Aperio sends a licensed technician to your address — driveway, workplace or a legal street spot — for the routine maintenance list below. $199/year per vehicle covers all routine maintenance, plus a $20 mobile service fee per visit for the first 4 visits per vehicle per plan year and $30 per visit after that; single-visit full-synthetic oil change from $101.50 (basic from $99.75), priced by engine, + $20 fee. Founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2017. Coverage is checked by address, not by city. Most eligible connected cars from 2013 onward can book themselves from their own oil-life data; the VIN/compatibility check decides.
One annual price per vehicle.
The plan price is set by the engine and the make, once a year.
Yearly plan: $199/year per vehicle, paid up front. Covers every routine service on the schedule. Visits are unlimited. The same plan can be paid monthly or taken All-Inclusive (below).
Mobile service fee: $20 per visit for the first 4 service visits per vehicle per plan year; $30 per visit from the 5th visit onward ("high-use vehicles"). The count resets each plan year. Visits themselves are never capped — only the fee changes.
Annual plan price per vehicle = $199 + (European make OR diesel engine ? $60 : 0) + $7 x each litre of oil capacity over 6 L (rounded up to a whole litre). It is one annual figure: nothing is added per oil change or per visit, and the two surcharges do not stack. Every vehicle page shows the finished figure for that exact engine.
Examples
European makes (the $60/year applies to every model of these): The European-approval oil those engines require is included in that price.
Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Fiat, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Peugeot, Porsche, Saab, Smart, Sterling, Volkswagen, Volvo.
Diesel engines: +$60/year; the diesel-rated oil and the larger diesel oil filter are included. A consumer diesel is priced automatically; diesel fleets are quoted instead.
Onboarding: a one-time fee of $45 per vehicle on the consumer plan ($60 per vehicle on the fleet plan), charged when that vehicle joins. Every vehicle starts with a full condition inspection: the technician goes through the whole vehicle — brakes, tires, lights, wipers, fluids, belts, hoses and the battery — records its condition from day one and connects it to Aperio, and any oil change or tire rotation already due is done at that same visit. Paid once — that vehicle is then on the plan for life, with no onboarding fee on renewal. It is not part of the annual price.
Monthly and All-Inclusive
Monthly plan: the same plan paid in 12 monthly payments, for $50 more a year: (the vehicle's yearly price + $50) ÷ 12. Same 12-month commitment, same mobile service fees, same one-time onboarding. Payments are rounded to the cent and the last one absorbs the difference. Examples: $199 → $249 → $20.75/month; BMW X3 2.0T $259 → $309 → $25.75/month; Ford F-150 5.0 V8 $213 → $263 → about $21.92/month; Ford F-350 6.7 diesel $322 → $372 → $31.00/month.
All-Inclusive plan: $360/year per vehicle, paid yearly, plus the same surcharges as the Yearly plan (+$60 a year for a European make or a diesel engine, not stacked; +$7 a year per litre of oil over 6 L). The mobile service fee is $0 for the first 4 visits of each plan year and $30 per visit after that. Seasonal tire storage is included, both seasons, every year (otherwise $60 a season for plan members). Same routine maintenance as the Yearly plan, same $45 one-time onboarding, same 12-month commitment and cancellation terms. Examples: Ford F-150 5.0 V8 $374/year; Ford F-350 6.7 diesel $483/year.
Term, payments and refunds.
Billing: every yearly price above is paid up front; only the Monthly plan is paid by the month.
Term: an Aperio plan is a 12-month commitment per vehicle at a price locked for those 12 months (longer terms exist, mostly for fleets; a contract with its own term follows that contract).
Monthly payments: only on the Monthly plan, which costs $50 more a year than paying up front, in 12 monthly payments. Paying monthly does not shorten the 12-month term.
Prepaying: prepay online when you book and save 3%.
Ways to pay: at booking, choose one of three: prepay online and save 3%; pay after the visit, on the technician's card reader or from a link we email; or pass the bill to someone else (a partner, spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend, or a parent) by email. The person paying gets a secure pay link, the booker is copied and told when it is paid, the payer's card is not saved, and the payer saves 3% when it is paid online before the visit. The booking is confirmed whichever way you pay; if a passed bill is not paid before the visit, the booker pays the regular price at the visit, with no discount. Cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, credit or debit. Cash only by arrangement with customer support before the visit.
Cancelling and refunds: cancelling before the 12 months are up does not stop the remaining payments of that term, and nothing is refunded — not unused months, not a vehicle that was driven less than expected or not at all (its monitoring, inspections and scheduled work carried on), not completed visits and not the one-time onboarding fee.
Renewal: before the term ends the customer is told the renewal price; unless they cancel before the renewal date the plan renews for a further 12-month term at that price.
Single visits, fleets and currency.
Single visit (no plan): $20 mobile service fee, flat; full-synthetic oil & filter from $101.50 (basic from $99.75, European-spec from $139.75), exact price by engine on each vehicle page; rotation $35; seasonal swap $60; safety check $45.
Fleet: $260/vehicle/year, $20 per on-yard visit for the first 4 visits per vehicle per year and $30 after that. That list price is for vehicles up to 6 L of oil; larger-sump vehicles and diesel fleets are quoted — the posted price is our best first price and every fleet's program is fine-tuned from there.
Heavy commercial makes: fleet-quoted; the $199 consumer plan does not apply to them.
Fleet dashboard: included with every fleet plan, no per-vehicle software fee (service schedule, active alerts, live map, repair quotes, each vehicle's record).
Waitlist: join from an uncovered address and the $45 onboarding fee is waived when that market opens.
Referrals: every customer has a personal referral link in their account. For every vehicle a friend puts on a plan (Yearly, Monthly or All-Inclusive) with that link, the customer earns $45 in credit once that vehicle's first visit is completed and paid; a friend's one-time oil change booked with the link, without a plan, earns $10 once; no limit on referrals. The friend must be a new customer. Credit is applied to a future booking and expires 2 years after it is earned. Aperio may change or end the referral program at any time without notice.
Currency: Canadian pages are in CAD, US pages in USD, at the same figures — $199 in Canada is $199 in the USA. This is intentional.

No oil change: an EV has no engine oil, so oil capacity and the over-capacity rule never apply to one.

Not included: small wear parts — wiper blades and light bulbs — replaced only if you ask, never as an upsell. Battery replacement, tires themselves, interior detail and any repair needing a lift sit outside routine maintenance and are quoted first, only if you ask.
Smart Connect (optional): most eligible connected vehicles from 2013 onward can link through 48+ OEM connected-car systems so the car alerts Aperio when service is due — the VIN/compatibility check decides, not the model year alone; other vehicles update mileage manually. 48+ is the number of OEM connected-car systems, not the number of makes serviced.
Same-day booking when available: +$8 rush fee.
